In this vital role you will provide paralegal support for the Patent Law group and be responsible for managing and maintaining patent prosecution dockets for U.S. and foreign patent portfolios. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Reviewing and docketing patent prosecution correspondence from US and foreign patent offices;
- Sending filing instructions to outside associates; maintaining follow-up correspondence; and ensuring completion of all country specific formalities;
- Managing patent dockets, including determining and docketing critical dates for US and foreign patent offices;
- Preparing reports through IP Management Software (Anaqua);
- Serving as a resource to the Patent Department staff regarding U.S. and foreign patent law rules and regulations, including making presentations at patent staff meetings and researching country law requirements using online resources such as Kluwer IP;
