DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a highly experienced Electrical Engineer III – Precision Robotics & Mechatronics with expertise in robotic automation, mechatronic systems, precision motion, and sample handling technologies to support the design, development, and lifecycle management of Electron Microscope (SEM, TEM,



DualBeam/FIB-SEM) products. This role is responsible for designing and integrating robotic and mechatronic subsystems that enable precise sample handling, positioning, automation, and instrument functionality while ensuring high levels of accuracy, repeatability, reliability, and product performance.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and optimize robotic and mechatronic systems for Electron Microscopy platforms and adjacent high-precision instrumentation.
- Develop precision sample handling mechanisms, robotic transfer systems, end-effectors, grippers, and automation modules.
- Design precision motion mechanisms incorporating servo motors, linear actuators, encoders, sensors, and precision transmission components.
- Apply robotics, kinematics, and mechatronic design principles to achieve high positioning accuracy, repeatability, and reliability.
