Job Description: Functional Tester

Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Functional Tester with robust knowledge of US payments, especially ACH processing, to validate payment workflows, business rules, integrations, and end-to-end application functionality. The candidate should have hands-on experience in functional testing and automation testing using Playwright and Selenium.

Key Responsibilities

· Review and analyze business requirements, user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria related to US payment applications.

· Design, develop, and execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end test scenarios for ACH payment workflows.

· Create and maintain detailed test cases, test data, test scripts, traceability matrices, and test execution reports.

· Develop, maintain, and execute automation scripts using Playwright and Selenium.

· Identify, document, track, and retest defects using defect management tools.

· Collaborate with business analysts, developers, QA leads, product owners,



and payment SMEs to clarify requirements and resolve issues.

Must-Have Skills

· Strong functional testing experience in banking, financial services, or payments domain.

· Hands-on knowledge of US payment systems, with mandatory experience or strong understanding of ACH processing.

· Hands-on automation testing experience using Playwright and Selenium.

· Ability to create reusable automation scripts and maintain regression automation suites.

· Strong knowledge of test case design, defect lifecycle, regression testing, and test execution reporting using JIRA and Test case management tool (Qtest).

· Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills.

· ISTQB or relevant testing certification is preferred but not mandatory.
