Overview

The main purpose of the role is to enable US Digital Commerce Sales team of Walmart with timely insights, advanced analytics, data intelligence & business recommendations. The role will work on a daily basis with mid level to Senior level Sales leaders in the org, be their go-to person for all analytics and deep dive needs. The role will be responsible for digitizing Sales processes, building/ leveraging quick automation solutions/ tools and contribute effectively to the long term Tech needs of the Walmart team by collaborating on regular basis with the DTX team or other Product teams. The role will be responsible for driving efficiencies within current processes, identifying further opportunities, executing change and improving Customer satisfaction with the service we provide.

The role will need to deliver high quality channel analytics to deep dive on relevant business problems, solve through actionable insights and recommendations to business team, thereby influencing business decision making.



Incumbent will be responsible to build compelling stories from the data & showcase impactful presentations to Senior Leaders. The role will be accountable for accurate measurement & reporting of significant business KPIs. The role will function as Digital Commerce SME (subject matter expert) building sharp domain knowledge & market intelligence in the long run. This will be an IC role (Individual Contributor).

Responsibilities
- Be the go-to person for US Walmart team to enable timely analysis, insight generation, actionable recommenations, opportunity analysis
- Leverage existing tools, create new scorecards or enhance existing ones, support dashboarding requirements as needed. Elevate scorecards with advanced analytics, including projections, automations & potentially language learning models
- Advanced data fluency across disparate data sources, including Promotions data & forecasting data
- Prepare monthly drivers & drags, highlights, weekly emails, customer
