Field of activity:
The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) area is at the heart of the Information Technology division of Deutsche Börse Group. The CTO area develops and operates the group-wide IT infrastructure (network, data centers and cloud), the Group Data & Advanced Analytics and the Enterprise Architecture which significantly contribute to Deutsche Börse Group overall strategy. The CTO area drives digitais transformation and leverages innovation while keeping production operations secure are the core pillars of the shared services.
Were looking for a motivated and skilled Cloud Platform Engineer to join our team supporting DBG Marketplace and other strategic cloud initiatives. You will be responsible for designing, building, and operating cloud platform services on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Working closely with development teams, architects, and security specialists, you will deliver scalable, secure,



and automated cloud solutions that enable product teams to develop and operate applications efficiently.
Tasks/responsibilities:
- Design, build, and operate cloud platform services and shared infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Build and operate Kubernetes-based platforms and cloud-native services.
- Develop automation tooling and platform services using Go (Golang) and scripting languages.
- Manage cloud networking, identity and access management, and platform security controls.
- Monitor platform health, improve observability, and ensure reliability and performance.
- Drive cloud security initiatives and promote secure engineering practices across the platform.
- Participate in cloud governance forums, architecture reviews, and cross-functional cloud working groups.
- Support the remediation and closure of audit, risk, and BaFin-related findings.
