JOB PURPOSE:
The Intermediate Automation Platform Support Engineer supports the day-to-day operation and continuous improvement of enterprise automation platforms and infrastructure services. Working with guidance from experienced engineers, this role assists with automation development, monitoring, incident response, documentation, and routine support across Linux infrastructure, database environments, and related platform services.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Provide day-to-day support for automation platforms such as Ansible Automation Platform, Terraform, and related orchestration tools, with guidance from senior team members.
- Assist with developing, maintaining, testing, and troubleshooting Ansible playbooks,



roles, job templates, workflows, and reusable automation components.
- Support Terraform configurations and infrastructure-as-code workflows for provisioning and lifecycle management.
- Monitor automation jobs, Linux infrastructure, database platforms, and supporting services; escalate issues when required.
- Respond to incidents, service requests, and alerts by following established procedures and documenting actions taken.
- Help identify opportunities to reduce manual effort and improve the consistency of routine operational processes.
- Support patching, compliance, vulnerability remediation, configuration checks, and infrastructure health reporting through automation.
- Assist with integrations involving IT service management, monitoring, logging, CI/CD, source control, and secrets management platforms.
- Contribute to troubleshooting and root cause analysis for recurring automation
