Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Storage Administrator – L2 with strong hands-on experience in Ceph Storage Administration and good knowledge of SAN Storage technologies. The candidate will be responsible for managing, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining enterprise storage infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, capacity, and operational stability.

Key Responsibilities

- Administer and support Ceph Storage Clusters, including MON, OSD, MDS, RGW, CephFS, and RBD.
- Monitor Ceph cluster health, capacity, performance, availability, recovery, and utilization.
- Troubleshoot OSD failures, PG degradation, recovery, rebalancing, latency, and performance issues.
- Perform Ceph cluster expansion, upgrades, balancing, maintenance, and optimization.
- Support enterprise SAN Storage infrastructure and understand SAN architecture.
- Work with Fibre Channel (FC), SAN switches, FC zoning, multipathing, LUN provisioning, and LUN masking.
- Perform storage provisioning, decommissioning, capacity management, and performance optimization.
- Provide strong Linux Administration support across RHEL, CentOS, and Ubuntu.
- Troubleshoot filesystem, disk, server, storage connectivity, and performance issues.
- Support storage protocols including iSCSI, NFS, and S3.
- Coordinate with Server, Network, Virtualization, Cloud, and Application teams for incidents and changes.




- Participate in Incident, Problem, and Change Management activities.
- Perform troubleshooting and RCA for recurring storage issues.
- Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and operational procedures.
- Provide 24x7 rotational production support.

Experience & Qualifications

- 4+ years of experience in enterprise storage, datacenter, or infrastructure operations.
- Hands-on experience with Ceph Storage Administration is mandatory.
- Good understanding of SAN Storage and Linux Administration.
- BE / B.Tech / M.Tech / M.Sc / MCA or equivalent.
- Storage certification such as HPE or equivalent is preferred.
- Experience in 24x7 production support is preferred.
