- Act as the internal owner of implementation projects rather than relying entirely on external consultants.
- Coordinate all phases of implementation, including requirements gathering, process mapping, solution assessment, vendor selection, gap analysis, configuration, development, testing, data preparation, training, go-live and post-implementation support.
- Work with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, warehouse, procurement, finance, human resources and management teams to understand operational requirements and translate them into practical software solutions.
- Ensure that selected applications support the companys business processes without creating unnecessary complexity or excessive customisation.
- Challenge software vendors and implementation partners constructively and ensure that agreed deliverables, timelines, costs and quality standards are respected.
- Own master data quality: item masters, BOM structures, partner records and chart of accounts alignment with group standards.
- Specify and coordinate integrations between ERP and surrounding systems: Azure-hosted services, the Microsoft Fabric data platform, Entra ID single sign-on, document management, third-party logistics and laboratory systems.
- Write and maintain functional specifications, test scripts, standard operating procedures and end-user documentation.
- Run key-user training and actively drive user adoption after go-live.
- Support Indian localisation requirements (GST, e-invoicing, e-way bill, statutory reporting) in coordination with local and group finance.
- Contribute to the group ERP deployment to strengthens the global model rollout.
Business process digitalisation

- Translate operational requirements into functional specifications, user stories, process flows and system requirements.
- Evaluate whether business needs should be addressed through standard software functionality,
configuration, integration, workflow automation or custom development.
- Promote a “standard first” approach while recognising when specific development is genuinely justified.
Software development and technical coordination
- Coordinate internal or external software development projects when specific tools, applications, interfaces or extensions are required.
- Define clear functional and technical requirements for developers and technology partners.
- Review proposed solutions and ensure that developments are maintainable, properly documented and aligned with the company’s architecture.

- Coordinate data preparation, cleansing, mapping, loading and reconciliation during system implementations.
- Ensure that applications generate reliable, structured and accessible data for operational and management reporting.
- Collaborate with the Group data team on integrations with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI and other reporting or analytics platforms.
Testing, documentation and adoption
- Prepare or coordinate functional specifications, configuration documents, test scenarios, validation records, operating procedures and end-user documentation.
- Organise and supervise system testing, user acceptance testing and issue resolution.
- Train key users and support departments during implementation and go-live.

Required profile
Experience
- Minimum 5 years in ERP implementation, including at least two full-cycle implementations or major rollouts delivered in a production / manufacturing setting, evidenced with concrete references: scope, headcount, modules, go-live date and your specific role.
- Demonstrable functional depth in manufacturing processes: production planning, MRP, BOM and routing design, shop-floor execution, inventory and warehouse management, batch and serial traceability.
- Proven ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders (production, QA/QC, supply chain, finance) and to manage scope through to go-live.
- Hands-on data migration experience: extraction, cleansing, mapping, load and reconciliation.
Technical
- Odoo is an asset— candidates with hands-on Odoo implementation experience (version 16 or above) will be prioritised. Candidates from SAP, Oracle, Dynamics 365 backgrounds are welcome where the manufacturing depth is genuinely there.
- Working understanding of Microsoft Azure and cloud technology: virtual machines, networking fundamentals, storage, identity (Entra ID / SSO), Key Vault, and general cloud architecture and security principles. You do not need to be an infrastructure engineer, but you must be able to hold a credible technical conversation with our platform team and understand how an ERP fits into a cloud-native landscape.
