Software and ERP implementation

- Lead the end-to-end ERP implementation for the entity: scoping workshops, business process mapping, gap analysis, configuration, data migration, testing, training, go-live and hypercare.
- Act as the internal owner of implementation projects rather than relying entirely on external consultants.
- Coordinate all phases of implementation, including requirements gathering, process mapping, solution assessment, vendor selection, gap analysis, configuration, development, testing, data preparation, training, go-live and post-implementation support.
- Work with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, warehouse, procurement, finance, human resources and management teams to understand operational requirements and translate them into practical software solutions.
- Ensure that selected applications support the companys business processes without creating unnecessary complexity or excessive customisation.
- Challenge software vendors and implementation partners constructively and ensure that agreed deliverables, timelines, costs and quality standards are respected.
- Own master data quality: item masters, BOM structures, partner records and chart of accounts alignment with group standards.
- Specify and coordinate integrations between ERP and surrounding systems: Azure-hosted services, the Microsoft Fabric data platform, Entra ID single sign-on, document management, third-party logistics and laboratory systems.
- Write and maintain functional specifications, test scripts, standard operating procedures and end-user documentation.
- Run key-user training and actively drive user adoption after go-live.
- Support Indian localisation requirements (GST, e-invoicing, e-way bill, statutory reporting) in coordination with local and group finance.
- Contribute to the group ERP deployment to strengthens the global model rollout.

Business process digitalisation

- Identify opportunities to digitalise, simplify and automate business processes across the organisation.
- Help departments document and improve their processes before implementing them in software.
- Translate operational requirements into functional specifications, user stories, process flows and system requirements.
- Evaluate whether business needs should be addressed through standard software functionality,



configuration, integration, workflow automation or custom development.
- Promote a “standard first” approach while recognising when specific development is genuinely justified.

Software development and technical coordination

- Coordinate internal or external software development projects when specific tools, applications, interfaces or extensions are required.
- Define clear functional and technical requirements for developers and technology partners.
- Review proposed solutions and ensure that developments are maintainable, properly documented and aligned with the company’s architecture.
- Be comfortable discussing application architecture, databases, APIs, authentication, hosting, security and integration concepts with technical specialists.
- Support the progressive development of an internal capability for business software, integrations, automation and digital tools.
- Contribute to the future recruitment, coordination and development of a software or applications team as the organisation grows.

Data and reporting

- Establish strong principles for master data governance, ownership and quality.
- Coordinate data preparation, cleansing, mapping, loading and reconciliation during system implementations.
- Ensure that applications generate reliable, structured and accessible data for operational and management reporting.
- Collaborate with the Group data team on integrations with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI and other reporting or analytics platforms.

Testing, documentation and adoption

- Prepare or coordinate functional specifications, configuration documents, test scenarios, validation records, operating procedures and end-user documentation.
- Organise and supervise system testing, user acceptance testing and issue resolution.
- Train key users and support departments during implementation and go-live.




- Actively drive user adoption and ensure that systems are effectively used after implementation.
- Establish clear support, change-management and continuous-improvement processes.

Project management and governance

- Define implementation plans, milestones, budgets, responsibilities, risks and dependencies.
- Provide structured and transparent reporting to the Group CTO and project stakeholders.
- Manage several software projects in parallel while maintaining clear priorities.
- Escalate risks and delays early and propose practical corrective actions.
- Maintain proper documentation, decision logs, system inventories and version control.

Required profile

Experience

- Minimum 5 years in ERP implementation, including at least two full-cycle implementations or major rollouts delivered in a production / manufacturing setting, evidenced with concrete references: scope, headcount, modules, go-live date and your specific role.
- Demonstrable functional depth in manufacturing processes: production planning, MRP, BOM and routing design, shop-floor execution, inventory and warehouse management, batch and serial traceability.
- Proven ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders (production, QA/QC, supply chain, finance) and to manage scope through to go-live.
- Hands-on data migration experience: extraction, cleansing, mapping, load and reconciliation.

Technical

- Odoo is an asset— candidates with hands-on Odoo implementation experience (version 16 or above) will be prioritised. Candidates from SAP, Oracle, Dynamics 365 backgrounds are welcome where the manufacturing depth is genuinely there.
- Working understanding of Microsoft Azure and cloud technology: virtual machines, networking fundamentals, storage, identity (Entra ID / SSO), Key Vault, and general cloud architecture and security principles. You do not need to be an infrastructure engineer, but you must be able to hold a credible technical conversation with our platform team and understand how an ERP fits into a cloud-native landscape.
- Comfortable with structured data work: SQL, CSV and Excel at scale, and API concepts (REST / JSON).
- Able to read Python and XML and to specify developments precisely, even if you are not the one writing the code.
