Qualification & Experience

- LLM or CA/CS with LLB having extensive legal experience/ specialization in Corporate/Insolvency & Bankruptcy Law, with high awareness of CPC/BNS, having at least 10 years of experience after qualification in Law as a senior resource for the legal function of any reputed industrial/commercial/qualified/academic Institution. Experience may be relaxed considering academic and professional antecedents of the applicant in exceptional cases.
- Preference will be given to candidates with extensive knowledge of Legal issues relating to IBC, practical experience as a legal support for IPs/IPEs, with hands on computer skills, handling RTI, advising on Legal Aspects of Grievances/Complaints resolution and handling.
- Disciplinary/Appellate functions.

Job Profile

- To prepare and update corporate legal strategy to promote and protect IIIPIs interests
- To maintain proper interaction with relevant State/Union Govt. Bodies
- To provide legal advice the Governing Board, Managing Director and other senior officers on legal issues including matters relating to Membership,



Disciplinary Proceedings, Grievance Redressal, etc.
- To handle Disciplinary Committee of IIIPI and related matters.
- To handle Grievance Redressal committee of IIIPI and related matters.
- To ensure that legal documents are drafted, reviewed and interpreted as per applicable laws.
- To collaborate with key stakeholders and other ancillary operators of the Insolvency Process for developing subject jurisprudence.
- Keep Board and Management updated with all developments in IBC and related areas including updating to IIIPI website in this regard.
- To Act as Central Public Information Officer under RTI Act.
- To coordinate with external counsels for defending and /or instituting court case against or by IIIPI.

Administrative

To oversee all administrative tasks performed in the Department

Compliance

- To ensure all statutory compliance/obligations.
- To develop and monitor appropriate quality assurance mechanisms for various tasks undertaken by the Department.

Nature of Employment

On Contract basis for a period of three years. (May be renewed thereafter at discretion of IIIPI)
