ITM Institute of Health Sciences is looking for a passionate and dedicated Assistant Professor for Optometry to join our faculty team. Freshers with a Masters degree in Optometry are welcome to apply.

Job Details:

- Working Days: 6 days a week (2nd & 4th Saturday and all Sundays off)
- Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Location: Current Panvel, Maharashtra

Required Candidate Profile:

- Masters Degree in Optometry
- Flexibility and adaptability
- Positive attitude and a strong desire to teach
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Description:
As an Assistant Professor, you will be responsible for:

- Teaching and mentoring M. Optometry students
- Preparing and delivering lectures, conducting research
- Evaluating and assessing student work
- Encouraging personal development through tutorial or pastoral support
- Invigilating exams and attending staff meetings
- Engaging in general administration tasks
- Writing research proposals, papers, and publications
- Supervising PhD students and research staff
- Attending and presenting at conferences/seminars
- Preparing bids for departmental research funding
- Any other tasks as assigned by the department
