Responsibilities:-

1. Job Purpose:

To oversee and optimize the logistics operations across multiple zones, ensuring seamless order fulfilment, timely delivery, and cost-effective distribution that supports sales targets and enhances customer satisfaction.

2. Key Responsibilities (KRAs):

- Logistics Planning & Strategy:

1. Develop and implement zonal logistics strategies to align with sales objectives.
2. Optimize routes, warehouse management, and transportation to improve efficiency.

- Order Fulfilment & Delivery Management:

1. Ensure timely and accurate order processing and dispatch.
2. Monitor delivery schedules and coordinate with regional teams for smooth execution.

- Vendor & Stakeholder Management:

1. Manage relationships with 3PL partners,



transporters, and other logistics vendors.
2. Negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality service.

- Inventory & Warehousing:

1. Monitor inventory levels across zones to prevent stockouts or excess inventory.
2. Coordinate with sales and procurement teams to ensure product availability.

- Team Management & Training:

1. Lead and mentor the zonal logistics team to enhance productivity.
2. Conduct regular performance evaluations and training sessions.

- Compliance & Risk Management:

1. Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulatory compliance.
2. Mitigate risks related to transportation, warehousing, and delivery.

3. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

- On-time delivery rate (%)
- Cost per delivery or shipment reduction (%)
- Inventory turnover ratio
- Vendor performance rating
- Reduction in delivery errors (%)
- Zone-wise order fulfilment rate (%).
