Zoho Books Accountant

We are looking for an experienced Zoho Books Developer to customize, automate, integrate, and maintain Zoho Books based on business and accounting requirements.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Zoho Books, Deluge scripting, workflows, custom functions, and API integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Customize and configure Zoho Books based on business requirements.
- Create and manage workflows, automation rules, custom functions, and notifications in Zoho Books.
- Develop and maintain Deluge scripts for business process automation.
- Customize modules and processes related to Customers, Vendors, Estimates, Sales Orders, Purchase Orders, Invoices, Bills, Payments, Expenses, Credit Notes, and other Zoho Books functions.
- Integrate Zoho Books with third-party applications using REST APIs, webhooks, and other integration methods.
- Integrate Zoho Books with other Zoho applications when required.
- Automate accounting and operational processes to reduce manual work.
- Create and customize reports based on business requirements.
- Troubleshoot Zoho Books issues and provide technical solutions.
- Work with business and accounting teams to understand requirements and translate them into Zoho Books solutions.




- Maintain technical documentation and provide end-user support and training when required.

Required Skills:

- Strong hands-on experience with Zoho Books is required.
- Strong knowledge of Deluge scripting and custom functions.
- Experience creating workflows and automations in Zoho Books.
- Experience with Zoho Books APIs, REST APIs, webhooks, and third-party integrations.
- Good understanding of Zoho Books modules such as Invoices, Bills, Sales Orders, Purchase Orders, Payments, Expenses, Customers, and Vendors.
- Basic understanding of accounting and finance processes.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and databases.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- 1–3+ years of experience working with Zoho applications, with significant hands-on experience in Zoho Books.
- Experience with Zoho CRM, Zoho Creator, Zoho Inventory, or Zoho Analytics is an added advantage.
- Zoho certifications are a plus.

What We Are Looking For

Significant: We are specifically looking for candidates with strong Zoho Books development and customization experience. Candidates whose experience is primarily limited to Zoho CRM or Zoho Creator may not be suitable for this position.
