Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-orientated X-ray technician to join our healthcare team. The candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety, maintaining imaging equipment, and assisting doctors in accurate diagnosis. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform X-ray examinations as prescribed by physicians.
- Prepare patients for radiographic procedures and explain the process to reduce anxiety.
- Position patients correctly to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
- Operate and maintain X-ray machines and imaging equipment.
- Ensure radiation safety standards and protocols are strictly followed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging reports.
- Assist radiologists and doctors in interpreting imaging requirements.
- Monitor equipment performance and report any technical issues.
- Adhere to hospital policies, infection control guidelines, and quality standards.




- Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with healthcare regulations.

Required Qualifications
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in radiology, medical imaging technology, or a related field.
- Valid certification/licensure as required by local regulations.
- Knowledge of radiographic procedures and radiation protection practices.
- Proficiency in operating digital and conventional X-ray equipment.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with PACS/RIS systems.
