About The Role

NAZZTEC is seeking a highly skilled Senior WordPress Developer to join our agile team on a freelance or project basis. The ideal candidate will take ownership of the development, customization, and optimization of our corporate website, transforming it into a modern, responsive, and enterprise-grade digital platform. This role requires a hands-on professional with extensive experience in WordPress development, including theme and plugin customization, API integrations, and performance optimization.

The Senior

WordPress Developer will collaborate closely with our business and design teams to implement UI/UX designs, enhance website functionality, and ensure the platform is secure, SEO-friendly, and aligned with industry standards.

Qualifications The successful candidate should possess a minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience in web development, with a strong emphasis on WordPress.

Essential qualifications include proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and experience in developing custom themes and plugins. Prior experience with REST API integrations, website security,



performance optimization, and technical SEO is mandatory. Candidates should demonstrate a solid understanding of website architecture, responsive design principles, cross-browser compatibility, and deployment processes.

Additional experience with enterprise or corporate websites, especially within the IT, cybersecurity, or technology consulting sectors, will be considered a significant advantage.

Responsibilities

- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites to meet business requirements and design specifications.
- Create custom WordPress themes and plugins, ensuring scalability and reusability.
- Manage website architecture, content hierarchy, and CMS structure for optimal performance and usability.
- Convert UI/UX designs into fully responsive WordPress pages compatible across devices and browsers.

- Integrate third-party applications, REST APIs, CRM systems, analytics, and marketing tools.
- Optimize website performance by improving load times, implementing caching, and adhering to Core Web Vitals standards.
- Ensure website security through best practices, security hardening, and vulnerability mitigation.
- Perform regular updates, backups, and maintenance to ensure website integrity and security.
- Handle website migration, deployment,



and support activities, including hosting, DNS, SSL, and domain management.
- Coordinate with UI/UX, content, and marketing teams for ongoing website updates and enhancements.
