Overview

We are seeking a skilled Welding Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design, system design, and root cause analysis. If you are passionate about welding engineering and have expertise in codes standards and mechanical knowledge, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities

- · Review customer specifications and welding requirements

· Prepare indent for welding consumable requirements with quality and quantity. · Ensure welding machine calibration and other measuring instruments used in welding.

· Developing and qualifying welding procedures for specific projects. Specifying welding parameters, welder qualifications, and documenting the process to meet industry and regulatory standards.

· Preparation of WPS/PQR/WPQ as per ASME

· Qualification of Welding procedures under TPI witness and record maintenance.

· Prepare Weld & Test Plan,



for submitting to client for approval.

· Good knowledge of welding processes like SMAW, GTAW, SAW, FCAW, GMAW, etc..

· Ensure and verification of use of right welding process, welding consumables and welder / welding operators in shop floor.

Qualifications

· Degree in Mechanical / Metallurgy Engineering .

· Minimum 5 years of experience as a Welding Engineer.

· Additional certifications in Welding & Metallurgy will be an added advantage.

· Good knowledge of ASME codes for welding requirements.
