Role OverviewWe are looking for a Wedding Designer who can conceptualise and develop creative design concepts for luxury weddings, from the initial brief through detailed design development and execution.

The ideal candidate should have a solid aesthetic sense, excellent understanding of wedding décor and spatial design, and the ability to convert creative ideas into practical, executable designs while working closely with clients, vendors, production and décor teams.

Key Responsibilities1. Concept & Creative Development

- Understand client briefs, preferences, wedding themes and overall vision.
- Develop creative concepts, themes, mood boards and visual directions for wedding events.
- Create distinctive design narratives for different functions such as weddings, receptions, sangeet, mehendi, haldi and cocktail events.
- Develop colour palettes, material palettes, styling directions and overall visual language.
- Research current wedding, décor, fashion, hospitality and design trends to bring fresh ideas.

2. Design Development

- Prepare mood boards, inspiration boards and presentation decks.
- Develop décor concepts for stages, mandaps, entrances, dining areas, lounges, bars, photo opportunities and guest experiences.
- Work on spatial layouts and understand how different design elements will work within the venue.
- Prepare detailed design references and briefs for execution teams and vendors.
- Ensure consistency of the design language across all wedding functions.

3. Client Presentations

- Present creative concepts and design proposals to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Understand client feedback and translate it into design modifications.




- Communicate design ideas clearly through visual references, presentations and discussions.
- Participate in client meetings and design walkthroughs when required.

4. Execution Coordination

- Coordinate closely with the Décor, Production, Design, Client Servicing and Vendor Management teams.
- Brief vendors and execution teams on design requirements.
- Review samples, materials, mock-ups and fabrication details.
- Conduct venue visits and understand site conditions, dimensions and execution limitations.
- Visit the venue during setup to ensure the final execution is aligned with the approved design.
- Identify design-related execution challenges and work with the relevant teams to find practical solutions.

5. Design Quality & Innovation

- Maintain high standards of aesthetics, detailing and finishing.
- Explore new materials, installations, furniture, floral concepts, lighting and experiential elements.
- Develop innovative ideas that enhance the guest experience.
- Ensure designs are both visually strong and commercially/practically feasible.

6. Documentation & Coordination

- Maintain organised design files, references and presentation decks.
- Prepare design briefs and relevant specifications for vendors and internal teams.
- Coordinate revisions and ensure the latest approved design is communicated to all stakeholders.
- Track design-related deliverables and timelines for assigned projects.

Requirements
- 3–7 years of experience in wedding design, event design, décor,



interior design, exhibition design, hospitality design or a related field.
- Strong understanding of luxury weddings and event aesthetics.
- Excellent visualisation and conceptualisation skills.
- Strong knowledge of décor elements, materials, furniture, florals, lighting and spatial styling.
- Ability to create compelling mood boards and design presentations.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work under tight timelines and manage multiple projects/functions simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel for weddings and venue visits.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to take ownership of projects from concept to execution.

Preferred Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD / SketchUp / Photoshop / Illustrator / PowerPoint / Canva or other relevant design tools.
- Experience working on luxury or destination weddings.
- Experience coordinating with fabricators, decorators, florists and other creative vendors.
- Understanding of budgets, costing and design feasibility.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating wedding/event design work.
