About The Role

We are seeking a motivated Junior Web Developer to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate should possess at least one year of professional web development experience and demonstrate proficiency in core web technologies. This role involves building, maintaining, and enhancing web applications and APIs to support our platform's growth and functionality.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior developers and cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, implement new features, and ensure the stability and performance of our web services. Exposure to Python/Django and REST APIs is advantageous, as the role involves backend development responsibilities. Qualifications The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 1+ year of professional experience in web development. They should possess a solid understanding of Core PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, AJAX, HTML, and CSS. Basic to intermediate knowledge of REST APIs and hands-on experience with Python/Django are preferred.

Familiarity with version control systems like Git, debugging techniques, and troubleshooting skills are essential. Additional knowledge of third-party API integration, JSON, API authentication, MVC architecture, and Linux/server environments will be considered advantageous. Strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and the ability to work independently are critical for success in this role.

Responsibilities

- Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications utilizing Core PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to deliver seamless user experiences.
- Write optimized SQL queries and work with relational databases such as MySQL to ensure data integrity and performance.
- Create dynamic web functionality through JavaScript and AJAX, improving interactivity and responsiveness.
- Build and integrate REST APIs to enable efficient data exchange between applications and external services.
- Participate in backend development tasks, including working with PHP and Python/Django frameworks where applicable.
- Debug and resolve application issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks to maintain platform stability.




- Understand existing codebases thoroughly and implement new features with safety and precision.
- Perform basic testing procedures to verify cross-browser compatibility and overall application functionality.
- Follow established coding standards, version control practices, and development guidelines to ensure code quality.
