GCRS Group is an international regulatory consultancy supporting brands across cosmetics, fragrance, personal care, food supplements, medical devices and other regulated consumer products.

We are looking for a Web Developer to support the development, maintenance and continuous improvement of GCRS websites, landing pages and digital properties.

The Role

You will be responsible for creating and maintaining high-quality websites and web experiences across the GCRS Group.

The role combines technical development, website performance, responsive design, integrations, content implementation and ongoing website optimisation.

You will work closely with marketing, brand, SEO, UI/UX and technology teams to ensure our web presence is professional, fast, secure and effective.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain company websites
- Build responsive and mobile-friendly web pages
- Create landing pages for marketing campaigns
- Implement designs provided by UI/UX teams
- Maintain website functionality and performance
- Integrate forms, APIs and third-party services
- Troubleshoot website issues
- Improve website speed and performance
- Maintain website security and technical quality
- Implement SEO-friendly technical structures
- Manage website updates and changes
- Support content publishing and page creation
- Maintain website backups and documentation where required
- Monitor broken links and technical issues
- Work with the SEO and content team
- Support analytics and tracking implementation
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility
- Maintain clean and structured code
- Assist with domain, hosting and deployment requirements
- Recommend improvements to the website architecture and user experience

What We Are Looking For We are looking for a practical and detail-oriented web developer who can take ownership of website development and maintenance.





You should be comfortable working with both technical and non-technical colleagues and be able to translate business and marketing requirements into effective web solutions.

Essential Experience and Skills

- Strong HTML, CSS and JavaScript skills
- Experience with responsive web development
- Knowledge of contemporary web development practices
- Experience working with CMS platforms such as WordPress or similar
- Understanding of website performance
- Basic understanding of technical SEO
- Experience integrating APIs and web services
- Knowledge of Git
- Strong debugging skills
- Understanding of web security
- Strong communication skills

Desirable Experience

- Professional experience with PHP development and server-side programming.
- WordPress development, including customization, themes and plugins.
- React, Next.js and its application in modern web development projects.
- Hands-on knowledge of website hosting, server configuration and deployment processes.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager for website tracking and measurement.
- Understanding of technical SEO, including website structure, indexing, performance and crawlability.
- Experience handling website migrations, including content, domains, hosting or platform changes.
- Exposure to developing and maintaining websites for international audiences and markets.
