CORPORATE OVERVIEW

Crownstone Construction Pvt. Ltd. (CCPL) is the dedicated in-house EPC arm of Aequs Infra, handling end-to-end project delivery - design coordination, construction, commissioning, and client handover. Unlike competitors who outsource the majority of construction work, CCPL's in-house execution model provides tighter delivery control, higher quality standards, and more effective risk management.

CCPL currently operates at a revenue run rate of ~INR 300 Cr with an order book of approximately INR 500 Cr, targeting INR 1,000 Cr in revenue within two years. The organisation has multiple live sites across South India including Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Andhra Pradesh - with a team of ~80100 people expected to grow to 150+ as new sites come online. Industrial infrastructure in India is projected to grow at 10-12% CAGR over the next decade, making this a strategically pivotal hire for CCPL and the broader Aequs Infra Group THE ROLE

CCPL requires a singular operational authority to own end-to-end project delivery across its growing industrial infrastructure portfolio. With multiple sites live across South India and a pipeline of new projects, the COO will consolidate operations, build institutional processes, and lead the organisation through its next phase of scale from INR 300 Cr to INR 1,000 Cr.

The COO will be the sole execution leader reporting directly to the MD, with ownership of engineering, procurement, construction, supply chain, project finance, QHSE, HR, and administration. This is not a strategic planning role; it is a high-velocity, hands-on execution mandate. The ideal candidate brings an execution-first orientation that complements the MD's patient, long-horizon strategic approach.

CCPL's in-house construction model is its competitive differentiator. The COO must protect and scale this model - not by importing the process-heavy playbook of large EPC firms,



but by building systems that are fast, repeatable, and suited to a growth-stage organisation doubling in two years.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Project Execution & Delivery: Own end-to-end delivery across all CCPL projects from design coordination through commissioning and client handover. Govern project schedules, budgets, and milestone plans. Establish early-warning risk systems to prevent slippage and manage defect liability period issues proactively.
- Operations & Process Management: Design and implement standard operating processes covering estimation, planning, procurement, construction workflow, and project close-out. Champion ERP and digital project management tools for data accuracy and decision speed. Build systems that are scalable and repeatable across multiple simultaneous sites.
- Team Leadership & Development: Lead multi-disciplinary teams across Project Management, Site Engineering, Supply Chain, QHSE, Commercial, and Administration. Scale the organisation from 80-100 to 150+ as new sites come up. HR and Admin functions report to the COO.
- Supply Chain & Vendor Management: Oversee procurement strategy and execution. Build and maintain a pre-qualified vendor ecosystem with strong South India depth. Develop long-term rate contracts and contingency sourcing plans to ensure supply continuity and cost predictability across a growing project portfolio.
- Budgeting & Commercial Management: Own project-level P&L.; Manage billing milestones, collections, payables,



and working capital. Review commercial terms on current contracts; identify and mitigate risks on price escalation, payment security, and liquidated damages.
- Customer & Stakeholder Management: Serve as primary client interface for both Aequs Group entities and external project owners. Provide proactive communication, transparent reporting, and responsive resolution including scope variations, timeline impacts, and defect liability management.
- Governance & Compliance: Provide structured weekly and monthly project progress reports to the MD and management committee. Ensure full compliance with labour laws, environmental regulations, building codes, local authority permits, and Aequs Group policies.
