Role Description The Warehouse Worker role at CBSC BOOK SHOP is a full time, on-site position based in Coimbatore.

The Warehouse

Worker is responsible for receiving, unloading, and organizing educational materials, ensuring accurate storage and inventory management. Day-to-day tasks include packing and preparing orders for shipment, loading and unloading deliveries, operating material handling equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The role also involves verifying shipment documents, reporting discrepancies, and coordinating with the publishing and logistics teams to ensure timely distribution of products.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Shipping & Receiving,



including checking deliveries, verifying documentation, and managing inventory records.
- Candidates should possess skills in Packing and order preparation, ensuring materials are correctly labeled, protected, and ready for dispatch.
- Ability to follow safety procedures, maintain an organized workspace, and handle repetitive tasks with attention to detail.
- Basic reading and math skills to interpret labels, counts, and shipping documents; prior warehouse experience is an advantage.
- Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a diverse team.
