Logistics Specialist Core Tasks & Responsibilities
Inventory Management at Co-Manufacturers & Re-Packers
- Manage and maintain finished goods and raw material inventory at cooperative manufacturers and repackers
- Execute inventory transactions in SAP, including:
- Goods receipts and issues
- Inventory adjustments and corrections
- Production confirmations
- Coordinate and support physical inventory counts and audits
- Investigate and resolve inventory variances
- Maintain and support inventory adjustment loss tree and business waste reduction initiatives
SAP & Systems Support
- Perform daily SAP ERP entries related to:
- Inventory movements
- Production and shipment reporting
- Invoice resolution
- Serve as SAP subjectmatter support for CM users and staff
- Support IDOCs, workflows, and system issue resolution in partnership with IT and upstream teams
Reporting & Monitoring
- Report production outputs, shipments, and inventory positions
- Monitor CM logistics processes to ensure accuracy, compliance,
and timeliness
- Identify data or process gaps impacting inventory accuracy or financial results
Invoice Resolution & Financial Support
- Act as the primary point of contact for CMrelated invoice issues
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical inventory, SAP transactions, and invoices
- Partner with Finance, AP, and CM stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate invoice processing
Factory Logistics Optimization
- Identify opportunities to improve inbound and outbound logistics strategies at CM locations
- Support initiatives to reduce transportation costs and business waste

- Transportation Team
- CM Operations Team
- 3PL CM teams (external)
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts across factory logistics operations
