Help Build How India Judges Its Next Generation of Builders and Creators. LaunchVerse is launching the Real World League — a multi-round, multi-domain talent contest for students aged 13–18 across entrepreneurship, the arts, content creation, and the creator economy. It's a national stage where school students pitch real ideas, share real creative work, and build real projects, with the best rising to national recognition, great real world opportunities with a total grant pool of 1 Crore.

The goal: Evaluating tens of thousands of student submissions fairly, at national scale, is a genuinely hard problem — no single system, human or AI, can do it well alone. Our goal is to build a first-of-its-kind hybrid evaluation model, where trained human judgment and AI scoring work together and continuously improve each other, so that every student's work gets a fair, meaningful read regardless of how many thousands of others also submitted. What you'll do:

- As a Judge, you'll review real student submissions against a structured rubric across rounds of the League, score them, and give reasoning for your calls.
- Beyond individual scoring,



you'll flag patterns — where the rubric captures quality well, and where it misses something a human eye catches that a scoring system doesn't — feeding directly into how we refine both the rubric and the AI system trained alongside it.

Why it matters: every submission you judge either becomes someone's stepping stone to national recognition or ends there — your read genuinely decides which. And because your feedback shapes the evaluation system itself, your input doesn't just affect the students in front of you this round; it makes the whole system fairer for every student who comes through it after, at a scale (tens of thousands of young people) that very few evaluation systems in India have ever tried to serve well.

Note: The time commitment will not be distributed uniformly, it will have spikes during some weeks.

Required

No specific technical background is required — what matters most is sound judgment, curiosity, and a willingness to think critically about how evaluation itself should work. We're looking for volunteers who can:

- Judge submissions thoughtfully and consistently, applying a structured rubric fairly across many entries
- Form transparent, well-reasoned opinions about the quality and originality of an idea or piece of creative work — and articulate why
- Notice patterns across submissions and give constructive feedback on where a rubric or evaluation approach is working or falling short
- Communicate reasoning clearly and stay engaged and reliable across a structured judging window
- Prior experience in judging, mentoring, teaching, hiring, venture evaluation, or reviewing creative work is a strong plus, but not required.
- An interest in youth development, education, entrepreneurship, evaluation design, or AI-assisted decision-making will help you engage meaningfully — beyond that, all you need is a sharp, fair mind and genuine interest in spotting good work when you see it.
