Position: VMC Programmer

Location: Ecotech 7, Greater Noida

Experience: 3–4 Years

Salary: ₹30,000–₹36,000 per month

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced VMC Programmer with strong hands-on expertise in Mastercam and CNC programming. The candidate should be capable of developing and executing both 2D and 3D CNC programs for VMC machines and have a good understanding of machining processes, tooling, and technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities

- Create, modify, and optimize VMC CNC programs for production requirements.
- Develop 2D and 3D machining programs using Mastercam.
- Generate accurate toolpaths and ensure efficient machining cycles.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T;, and technical specifications.
- Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, feeds, and machining strategies.
- Set up and operate VMC machines as required.
- Perform program prove-outs, tool setting, and offset adjustments.
- Monitor machining processes and troubleshoot programming/machining issues.
- Optimize programs to improve productivity, accuracy, and tool life.
- Coordinate with the production and quality teams to ensure components meet specifications.
- Maintain CNC programs, tooling records, and relevant production documentation.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Candidate Requirements




- 3–4 years of relevant experience as a VMC Programmer.
- Solid hands-on knowledge of Mastercam is mandatory.
- Good knowledge of 2D and 3D programming.
- Experience working with VMC machines.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and GD&T.;
- Good knowledge of cutting tools, tooling selection, speeds, feeds, and machining parameters.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- ITI/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related technical field preferred.
