Role Description This is a full-time, in office Video Editor role based in Bengaluru.
The Video
Editor will review and organize raw wedding footage, select key moments, and craft cohesive narrative timelines that align with the studio’s cinematic style. Daily responsibilities include editing video sequences, applying color grading, integrating sound and music, and collaborating with the creative team to refine visual storytelling. The role also involves working closely with cinematographers and directors to maintain consistency in tone, pacing, and overall aesthetic across projects.
The Video
Editor will participate in feedback cycles, implement revisions efficiently, and ensure final outputs meet high production standards and delivery timelines.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing, with experience handling high-resolution footage and multi-camera workflows.
- Proficiency in Video Color Grading, with the ability to create consistent, cinematic looks across varied lighting and locations.
- Capability in Motion Graphics and Graphics to enhance storytelling with tasteful titles, overlays, and visual elements.
- Hands-on experience with qualified editing and post-production tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects).
- Excellent sense of pacing, narrative structure, and emotional storytelling, especially in wedding or event filmmaking.
- Attention to detail, strong visual aesthetics, and the ability to maintain quality under tight deadlines.
- Effective collaboration and communication skills, with openness to feedback and iterative creative processes.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, visual communication, or related fields is an advantage; a strong portfolio of past work is essential.
