About the Role

Solarrun is looking for a creative and skilled Video Editor to join our team in Ekkatuthangal, Chennai. The ideal candidate should have 1–3 years of experience in video editing and be passionate about creating engaging and visually appealing content for social media and digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit high-quality videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube, social media, advertisements, and marketing campaigns.
- Edit raw footage into engaging videos with good pacing and storytelling.
- Add transitions, text, subtitles, music, sound effects, and motion graphics.
- Perform basic color correction, color grading, and audio editing.
- Create engaging short-form videos based on current social media trends.
- Work closely with the creative and marketing teams to understand content requirements.
- Make revisions based on feedback and ensure timely delivery of projects.
- Maintain and organize video footage, project files, graphics, and other digital assets.
- Ensure all videos maintain Solarrun's branding and visual standards.




- Stay updated with the latest video editing techniques, formats, and social media trends.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Knowledge of Adobe After Effects is an added advantage.
- Basic knowledge of Photoshop/Illustrator is preferred.
- Positive understanding of video editing, storytelling, transitions, sound, and visual composition.
- Ability to create Reels, Shorts, promotional videos, and marketing content.
- Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Good time management and ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Eligibility
- 1–3 years of professional experience in video editing.
- Candidates should have a portfolio/showreel demonstrating their editing skills.
- Candidates from a multimedia, visual communication, animation, film, or related background are preferred.

Salary & Location Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month
