Company Description POSTLABSTUDIOS is a professional video post-production and editing studio specializing in wedding films, cinematic wedding highlights, short films, and creative video content. The team focuses on transforming raw wedding footage into emotionally engaging stories through careful attention to pacing, music, color, sound, and narrative structure. In addition to wedding projects, POSTLABSTUDIOS handles short films and other creative video work with the same commitment to storytelling and visual quality.

The studio collaborates with a range of photographers, wedding filmmakers, and creative teams, and values the craft of finding the story within the footage and giving it a distinct rhythm and visual identity.

Role Description This is a full-time, in office Video Editor role based in Kochi.

The Video

Editor will work closely with the creative team to edit wedding films, cinematic highlights, teasers, and social media cuts, ensuring each project reflects the intended story and emotional tone. Daily responsibilities include organizing and selecting footage, assembling timelines, applying color grading, refining audio, and integrating graphics or motion elements where needed. The role involves collaborating with directors and producers, maintaining consistent quality across projects,



and delivering final videos within established deadlines.

The Video

Editor will also contribute creative ideas to enhance storytelling, visual style, and overall post-production workflows.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production, including organizing footage, assembling sequences, and refining narrative flow.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure visual consistency, mood, and high-quality image finishing.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create titles, lower thirds, and visual elements that support the story.
- Proficiency with industry-standard editing and post-production software (such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, or similar tools).
- Strong sense of storytelling, pacing, music selection, and attention to detail in both visual and audio elements.
- Ability to work on-site in Kochi, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines while maintaining high quality standards.
- Good communication and collaboration skills, with openness to feedback and iterative creative processes.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, or a related field, and prior experience in wedding or creative video editing is an advantage.
