We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to create engaging and professional video content for our fashion designing training programs, workshops, social media platforms, and promotional activities.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in video editing and a good understanding of storytelling, pacing, transitions, audio, and visual presentation. Experience with fashion, education, lifestyle, or social media content will be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit videos for fashion designing classes, workshops, demonstrations, and training programs.
- Create engaging short-form content such as Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and promotional videos.
- Edit long-form educational and workshop recordings for online learning.
- Select and organize relevant footage, images, graphics, and audio for video projects.
- Add transitions, text, captions, subtitles, music, sound effects, and other visual elements where appropriate.
- Perform basic colour correction, audio enhancement, and video cleanup.
- Create videos that maintain the academy's visual style and communication standards.
- Coordinate with trainers and the content/marketing team to understand video requirements.
- Manage and organize raw footage, project files, edited videos, and other digital assets.
- Repurpose existing workshop and training footage into engaging social media content.
- Ensure videos are delivered within the required timelines and formats.
- Stay updated with current video-editing trends and social media content formats.




- Support the team with other video production and editing requirements as needed.

Requirements
- 1–3 years of professional experience in video editing.
- Positive working knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics and tools such as Adobe After Effects will be an advantage.
- Understanding of video formats and aspect ratios for platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, and other digital platforms.
- Good sense of visual composition, timing, transitions, and storytelling.
- Basic understanding of audio editing and colour correction.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- A portfolio or examples of previous video-editing work are preferred.

Preferred Skills
- Experience creating Reels and other short-form social media videos.
- Interest in fashion, beauty, lifestyle, education, or creative content.
- Basic knowledge of photography or camera handling is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with current social media video trends and editing styles.
