Role Description This is a full time, on-site Video Editor role based in Chennai.

The Video

Editor will be responsible for editing video content for digital platforms, including cutting, arranging, and refining footage to align with project objectives and brand guidelines. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with creative, marketing, and product teams to understand project requirements, applying color grading, basic sound adjustments,



and motion graphics, and preparing videos for web, social media, and product launches. The role involves organizing and managing media assets, maintaining consistent visual styles across projects, and optimizing content formats for different channels.

The Video

Editor will also contribute creative ideas to improve storytelling, engagement, and overall production quality.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Video Production and Video Editing skills for creating polished, narrative-driven content.
- Candidates should possess Video Color Grading skills to ensure visual consistency and enhance overall look and feel.
- Candidates should possess Motion Graphics and Graphics skills for adding titles, overlays, and visual elements that support storytelling.
- Proficiency with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and basic audio editing.
- Ability to follow brand guidelines, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong visual storytelling abilities, attention to detail, and a portfolio demonstrating previous video work.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, design, or a related field is beneficial; experience in tech or digital agencies is a plus.
