Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Kochi.
The Video
Editor will be responsible for assembling raw footage, selecting the best shots, and creating cohesive, engaging video content for various channels. Day-to-day tasks include editing video clips, applying transitions and effects, performing basic color correction and grading, and integrating motion graphics and titles. The role involves close collaboration with content, design, and marketing teams to understand project objectives, interpret briefs,
and deliver videos aligned with brand guidelines and timelines.
The Video
Editor will also manage file organization, maintain project archives, and stay updated on editing trends, tools, and best practices.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess solid skills in Video Production and Video Editing for diverse formats and platforms.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent visual tone and quality.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create titles, overlays, and visual elements that enhance storytelling.
- Proficiency in industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects) is beneficial.
- Relevant experience in editing marketing, social media, or corporate videos is beneficial.
- Strong visual storytelling ability, attention to detail, and time management skills are beneficial.
- A diploma or degree in film, media, visual communication, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is beneficial.
