Vendor Development Executive

Location: R.D.C.,Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and develop new vendors for raw materials, components, fabrication, machining, sheet metal, packaging and other manufacturing requirements.
- Develop and maintain a robust vendor base as per company requirements.
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and manufacturers.
- Obtain and compare quotations from different vendors.
- Negotiate price, quality, payment terms, delivery schedules and other commercial terms.
- Coordinate with vendors for samples, development, costing and trial requirements.
- Follow up with vendors for timely supply and delivery of materials.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Quality, Stores and other departments for vendor-related requirements.
- Evaluate vendor capabilities, quality standards, pricing and delivery performance.
- Monitor and maintain vendor performance records.




- Resolve vendor-related issues regarding quality, delivery, pricing and material availability.
- Develop alternate vendors to ensure uninterrupted supply and cost competitiveness.
- Maintain vendor database, quotations, comparative statements and other procurement-related records.
- Prepare regular reports related to vendor development and sourcing activities.

Required Skills

- 3–5 years of relevant experience in Vendor Development / Purchase / Procurement / Sourcing in a manufacturing industry.
- Good knowledge of manufacturing vendors and local supplier markets.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Good knowledge of quotation comparison and vendor evaluation.
- Good follow-up and coordination skills.
- Ability to identify cost-effective suppliers and develop long-term vendor relationships.

Qualification Graduate / Diploma / Degree in any relevant discipline.
