Role Description The User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Analyst is responsible for validating that business requirements are accurately implemented in new and existing systems and processes. This contract role involves creating test plans and test cases, executing UAT cycles, documenting defects, and coordinating with business and technical teams to resolve issues. The analyst will review requirements and functional specifications, prepare test data, track test progress, and provide explicit status updates and reports.

The position is based in Mumbai in a hybrid arrangement, combining onsite work with some work-from-home flexibility.



The UAT Analyst will collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure that delivered solutions are secure, user-friendly, and ready for production deployment.

Qualifications

- Solid User Acceptance Testing skills, including creation and execution of test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts.
- Experience reviewing business requirements, functional specifications, and process flows to design effective test coverage.
- Proficiency in defect logging, tracking, and retesting using common test management or ticketing tools.
- Ability to analyze issues, identify root causes, and work with cross-functional teams to drive resolutions.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for documenting results, preparing test reports, and interacting with stakeholders.
- Comfort working in a hybrid environment, balancing onsite collaboration in Mumbai with remote work.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage priorities across multiple testing cycles.
- Familiarity with enterprise applications (e.g., ERP, finance, HR, or IT systems) is beneficial.
- Experience in business services, consulting, or shared services environments is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
