Consultant – Urology

Candidate Requirements

- MBBS with valid medical registration – Mandatory
- MS/DNB/DrNB in Urology – Preferred/Required as per position
- Relevant experience in Urology & Urological Surgery
- Strong clinical and surgical decision-making skills
- Valuable communication and multidisciplinary teamwork
- Commitment to patient safety and quality healthcare

Key Responsibilities
- Manage OPD, IPD and emergency urology cases.
- Diagnose and treat urinary tract and male reproductive system disorders.
- Perform urological procedures and surgeries according to qualification and hospital privileges.
- Coordinate with Nephrology, Oncology, Radiology, Anaesthesia and other specialties.
- Ensure proper pre-operative, operative and post-operative patient care.




- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow hospital protocols.

Skills & Procedures
- Endourology and stone management
- Cystoscopy and ureteroscopy (URS)
- DJ stent insertion/removal
- PCNL and RIRS
- TURP/TURBT
- Urological emergencies and acute urinary retention management
- Urological catheterization and suprapubic procedures
- Management of BPH, urinary stones, UTI and urinary obstruction
- Basic laparoscopic urological procedures will be an advantage
- Male infertility and andrology management will be an advantage
