About The Role

We are seeking a talented UI/UX & Visual Design Engineer to own and shape the visual and interactive aspects of Raynetics’ products and communications. This role involves designing and building intuitive, impactful interfaces for our software, website, and marketing materials. You will be responsible for translating complex technical concepts into clear, engaging visual narratives that resonate with our customers, partners, and investors.

Your work will directly influence how users experience our solutions and perceive our brand. This position offers a unique chance to be at the forefront of a deep-tech company, contributing to high-stakes projects with visibility among leading chipmakers and scientific organizations. As the sole designer in the team, you will have the autonomy to take ownership of your projects from concept to execution, working closely with engineers and other stakeholders across different time zones.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will have over three years of experience designing web applications, dashboards,



or software products that have been successfully shipped. A strong portfolio demonstrating at least one complete product interface and one marketing collateral piece such as a deck or website is essential. Proficiency in Figma is required, along with a solid understanding of UI/UX principles, including visual hierarchy, typography, layout, and color theory, with meticulous attention to detail and consistency.

Excellent storytelling and presentation skills are vital, enabling you to convert complex technical or business information into compelling visual formats. You should be capable of working independently, managing end-to-end design projects, and collaborating effectively with engineers and non-design colleagues. Strong communication skills and the ability to accept and incorporate feedback promptly are also necessary.

Candidates must be based in India, with at least six hours of overlap with the Dutch working day, roughly between 12:30 and 20:00 IST.

Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include designing and maintaining the user interface and visual elements of Raynetics’ software platform, website, and marketing materials. You will collaborate with engineers to create user-centric interfaces that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing. Creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs in Figma will be part of your routine, alongside developing marketing collateral such as decks, one-pagers, and technical presentations.

You will be expected to interpret technical requirements into intuitive designs, ensuring visual consistency across all touchpoints. Managing multiple projects independently, meeting deadlines,



and providing constructive feedback to team members will be crucial. Additionally, you will contribute to improving the overall user experience by proposing innovative design solutions and refining existing visuals based on user feedback and industry best practices.
