Role Description This is a full time, on-site role based in Bengaluru for a TV Assembly Unit – Line Operator / Technician. The role involves operating and monitoring assembly line machinery for Smart and LED TVs, following standard operating procedures and production schedules.
Responsibilities include assembling components, performing basic troubleshooting, and ensuring proper handling of parts to maintain safety and efficiency.
The Line
Operator / Technician conducts visual and functional checks on assembled units, records production data, and collaborates with quality and maintenance teams to resolve issues.
The role also supports continuous improvement initiatives, follows 5S and safety practices, and may assist in training new team members on line operations.
Qualifications
● Candidates should possess skills in Machine Operation, including handling assembly line equipment and following standardized work instructions.
● Candidates should possess skills in Quality Control, including visual inspection, basic testing, and documentation of defects or non-conformities.
● Candidates should possess strong Communication skills for coordinating with supervisors, quality teams, and coworkers, and for reporting issues clearly.
● Candidates should possess Training-related abilities, such as learning new procedures quickly and supporting onboarding of new operators when required.
● Candidates should possess basic Computer Literacy for using production software, scanners, and digital reporting tools.
● Relevant technical qualification (ITI, Diploma in Electronics/Electrical/Mechanical or similar) is preferred.
● Prior experience in electronics manufacturing, TV assembly, or similar production environments is an advantage.
● Ability to stand for extended periods, follow safety guidelines, and work effectively in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
