ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

OVERALL ROLE

Manage the scope of contracts to ensure agreed deliverables are met within the stipulated time. To provide comprehensive facility management for services to the client, with a focus on continuous improvement. Achievement of the Key Performance Indicators and Service Level Agreements targets.

POSITION GOALS A Transport Compliance Executive/Sr. Executive ensures a companys fleet, drivers, and logistics operations adhere to local, state, and federal safety and transportation regulations. Key duties include conducting internal audits, managing driver documentation, overseeing vehicle safety standards, filing compliance reports and updating policies to mitigate risks.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Major Responsibilities

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure total compliance with safety standards and transport department SOPs, including environmental regulations and social responsibility norms. Audit and Inspection: Conduct regular internal audits of vehicles, drivers, and documentation to identify and rectify non-compliance areas.

Documentation Management: Maintain meticulous,



up-to-date records for vehicle maintenance, mileage reports, and driver logs.

Driver Management: Oversee driver training on regulatory guidelines, manage driver permits, and monitor drug/alcohol testing programs.

Policy Development: Develop, implement, and update internal transport procedures to comply with changing local or federal laws.

Reporting: Prepare reports for management and liaise with regulatory bodies to address compliance concerns.

Training & Education: Train drivers on compliance regulations, ethical standards, and updated procedures.

Investigation: Investigate reported or suspected policy violations.

- Others

Assist in the preparation of Daily reports, Weekly Report and Monthly Management Report. Emergency call support and site attendance is required.

Participate in emergency evacuation procedures including crisis management and business continuity

CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION: KEY SELECTION CRITERIA

Ideal Experience

Experience: Proven experience in transportation management, logistics, or a regulatory compliance role.

Knowledge: Strong understanding of transportation safety regulations, transport laws, and vehicle regulations.

Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and operational procedures to mitigate risk.

Communication: Excellent communication skills for training staff and reporting to senior management.

Education: Bachelors degree
