Qualification: Mechanical Engineering Degree/Diploma

Experience: In power transformers ( 15+ years )

Enquiry Processing Role: Analyze customer product enquiries and tendering documents to develop customized solutions for individual customers and accurately determine the costs involved in meeting customer requirements in a timely manner.

- Process customer enquiries and tender notices within the shortest possible time period and complete the clarification list in order to enable the Sales and Marketing function to successfully drive sales
- Develop customized solutions meeting all customer requirements - product specifications, performance characteristics/GTP and costing - for customer evaluation within the predetermined time frame
- Develop the Customer Drawings complete in all respects for various Sales and Marketing activities
- Prepare the tender / customer enquiry response complete with documents and / or reports and obtain approval from the Head – Mechanical Design coordinating with the Central Marketing function
- Support the Sales and Marketing function by providing all technical information required, in coordination with the concerned department, thereby enabling timely submission of tender responses and faster responses to customer queries
- Undertake changes to the design, if any, demanded by the customer and develop the Mechanical Design component of the Second Design Submission within the predefined time frame to secure customer approval




- Ensure adherence of all design work to the pre-defined design methodologies and usage of the SAP system for raising change requests by various stakeholders

Work Order Processing Role: Ensure activities relating to work order processing to develop customized and optimal product specifications for mechanical elements ensuring productive usage of manufacturing resources, quality products and timely completion of the order.

- Complete individual customer product requirements in a timely and efficient manner
- Assist manager in developing the mechanical design component and the clarification list of the order, based on the finalized customer product specifications, ensuring optimum performance, high reliability and low manufacturing costs
- Complete the customer drawings.
- Incorporate design changes as per Sales / Marketing department.
- Prepare the guaranteed technical publications (GTP)
- Store all developed design in the SAP drawing management System as per defined guidelines
- Calculate cooling rate, weight and volume of tank, weight of other accessories and fittings, oil quantity etc.
- Prepare bills of materials & incorporate amendments if any to the BOM.
- Prepare purchase specifications for electrical components – to facilitate sourcing of the components from Suppliers / Vendors
- Provide input on procured products in supply contract negotiations

Pay: ₹2,000,000.00 - ₹3,000,000.00 per year
