1. You must be able to READ AND UNDERSTAND HINDI OR MARATHI in Devanagari script, and spot mistakes in subtitles in that language. This is used every day and is tested at every stage. YOU DO NOT NEED A HINDI OR MARATHI KEYBOARD: we type using Google Input Tools, where you type "ladki" in English letters and it becomes , or "mulgi" and it becomes . If you speak and read Hindi or Marathi, you can do this work. Candidates who read both are especially welcome.
2. This is a FULL TIME IN OFFICE role at Rajnagar Colony, Uppal, Hyderabad. It is not work from home and not hybrid.
3. Six days a week, Monday to Saturday, 9:30 am to 6:30 pm.
4. Compensation is a fixed fresher band. It is stated openly before any interview is scheduled and it is not negotiable.

About the work We prepare subtitles, closed captions and audio description for Indian language shows on major streaming platforms and television channels. Your job is to check and correct caption files against the video and audio, in Hindi or Marathi alongside English, until they are accurate enough to ship to a client.

It is detailed, seated, screen and headphone work. A single episode takes sustained concentration for hours. People who enjoy careful, precise work and finishing things properly do well here. People looking for variety and constant movement do not.

Role and responsibilities

- Watch assigned episodes and check every caption against what is spoken
- Correct spelling, grammar, timing,



line length and reading speed
- Type corrections in Hindi or Marathi and in English (Indian languages typed via Google Input Tools, no special keyboard required)
- Follow a written house style guide and a QC checklist without shortcuts
- Flag anything doubtful instead of guessing

Preferred candidate profile

- Able to read Hindi or Marathi in Devanagari and judge whether a sentence in that language is correct (essential, tested). Typing skill is NOT required; we train it.
- Good written English
- Graduates and freshers welcome. No prior captioning experience needed.
- Living within reasonable daily travel of Uppal, Hyderabad
- Patient, honest, and comfortable saying "I am not sure" rather than guessing

Selection process

1. You will be contacted via WhatsApp, if shortlisted. Please state in your application which language you read: Hindi, Marathi or both.
2. A take-home test in your language of about 30 to 45 minutes, to be returned within 48 hours
3. In-person interview and a written exercise at our Rajnagar, Uppal office
