JOB OPPORTUNITY | IoT SECURITY TRAINER

Don Bosco Tech Society is looking for a passionate and experienced IoT Security Trainer to join our skill development program and train youth in emerging technology skills.

Position Details

Designation: IoT Security Trainer

Location: Marthandam, Kannyakumari

No. of Positions: 1

Job Type: Full-time | Permanent

Work Location: In-person

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct technical training as per the prescribed curriculum/ACLP.
- Deliver theory and hands-on sessions on IoT & Cyber Security.
- Train students on IoT architecture, device security, network security and secure communication.
- Provide practical exposure to IoT vulnerabilities, threat identification and security testing.
- Cover concepts such as authentication, encryption, access control and secure APIs.
- Conduct practical assessments, projects and student evaluations.
- Mentor students and support their technical and employability development.
- Maintain attendance, assessments, training records and project documentation.
- Support industry interactions, guest lectures, placement activities and centre events.
- Coordinate with the centre and project team to ensure effective program implementation.

Required Qualification & Skills




- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / IT / Cyber Security / Electronics / IoT / Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant training or industry experience.
- Strong knowledge of IoT Security, Cyber Security and Networking.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, MQTT, CoAP and related protocols.
- Understanding of IoT vulnerabilities and security testing.
- Knowledge of Linux and cybersecurity tools such as Wireshark, Nmap, Burp Suite, Kali Linux, etc.
- Experience with Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi or similar IoT platforms is an advantage.
- Strong communication, presentation and facilitation skills.
- Fluency in English and familiarity with the local language.
- Valuable proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
