About the Role: We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Trainee Consultant to join our Audit & Accounting team. This position is ideal for a commerce graduate who is looking to build a career in accounting, auditing, taxation, compliance, and financial consulting.

The selected candidate will receive practical exposure and on-the-job training while assisting senior professionals in handling accounting and audit assignments for various clients.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in maintaining and updating books of accounts for clients.
- Assist in preparation and review of accounting records, vouchers, ledgers, and supporting documents.
- Perform basic accounting and bookkeeping activities.
- Assist in audit and assurance assignments, including verification of financial records and supporting documents.
- Assist in preparation of audit working papers and documentation.
- Support the team in GST, TDS and other statutory compliance assignments.
- Assist in preparation of GST/TDS workings, reconciliations, and related documentation.
- Perform bank, ledger, GST and other account reconciliations.
- Assist in preparation of financial statements and management reports.
- Work with Tally / accounting software and MS Excel for day-to-day assignments.
- Collect, organize, and verify financial information received from clients.
- Communicate with clients to obtain necessary documents and information.
- Maintain proper documentation and ensure timely completion of assigned work.
- Support senior team members in research, analysis,



and other professional assignments.
- Maintain confidentiality of client information and financial records.
- Continuously develop knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, audit procedures, and statutory compliances.

Eligibility

- B.Com / B.Com (Hons.) / M.Com or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
- Freshers are encouraged to apply.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles is required.
- Knowledge of Tally and MS Excel will be preferred.

Required Skills

- Good understanding of basic accounting concepts.
- Basic proficiency in MS Excel.
- Working knowledge of Tally or other accounting software.
- Positive numerical and analytical ability.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Valuable written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to organize documents and maintain proper records.
- Willingness to learn and take responsibility.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
