Job Summary

The Tools & Automation Engineer plays a crucial role in enhancing operational efficiency through the development and maintenance of automation tools. This position focuses on asset management and ITIL processes, ensuring that all solutions align with organizational standards for quality and cost. The engineer will work collaboratively to deliver high-quality code and support existing projects while responding to client requests.

Key Responsibilities

1. Implement Itil Best Practices And Problem Management Techniques To Enhance Operational Systems, Improving Management Reporting And Streamlining Information Flow.
2. Analyze Client Requirements And Ensure The Support Team Consistently Meets Or Exceeds Client Expectations Through Effective Communication And Performance Monitoring.
3. Lead And Mentor Project Teams, Fostering Transparent Communication Of Project Goals To Enhance Team Collaboration And Accountability.

Drive Innovation By Proposing And Implementing Recent Ideas For Process Development, Contributing To Overall Organizational Progress And Efficiency.
5. Develop And Deliver Tailored Solutions That Align With Customer Needs, Leveraging Tools Such As Snow, Bmc Remedy, And Ca Service Desk To Achieve Desired Business Results.

Skill Requirements

1. Strong Knowledge Of Itil Framework And Problem Management Principles.
2. Proficiency In Tools Such As Servicenow (Snow), Bmc Remedy, Ca Service Desk, And Avanti.
3. Excellent Communication Skills With The Ability To Mentor And Guide Teams Effectively.
4. Proven Ability To Drive Process Improvements And Manage Operational Systems.

Other Requirements

1. Itil Foundation Certification Is Required.
2. Additional Itil Certifications (Intermediate Or Expert) Are Optional But Valuable
