Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Test Lead with strong hands-on Ingenium Testing experience and Life Insurance domain expertise to lead QA activities for New Business processes and Policy Administration Systems.

The ideal candidate must have minimum 2-4 years of hands-on Ingenium Testing experience along with solid experience in Life Insurance testing and should be capable of independently handling QA activities, coordinating with stakeholders, and managing testing deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage QA/testing activities for Life Insurance applications.
- Perform and oversee functional, integration, regression and UAT testing.
- Work on Ingenium-based applications and Policy Administration Systems.
- Understand business requirements, specifications and user stories and translate them into test scenarios and test cases.
- Lead testing for Life Insurance New Business / onboarding processes and end-to-end business journeys.
- Review test cases, test execution results and defect reports.
- Coordinate with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners and other stakeholders.
- Conduct defect triage, defect prioritization and risk assessment.
- Assign testing tasks, track progress and ensure timely completion of QA deliverables.
- Prepare and communicate DSR/WSR,



release status and testing reports.
- Identify testing risks and ensure appropriate mitigation.
- Support timely and quality releases across multiple priorities/projects.
- Mentor and guide QA team members where required.

Mandatory Requirements

- 6-8 years of overall Software Testing / QA experience.
- 2-4 years of hands-on Ingenium Testing experience Mandatory.
- Strong Life Insurance domain experience – Mandatory.
- Experience with Life Insurance New Business processes.
- Experience with Policy Administration Systems.
- Strong experience in Functional, Integration, Regression and UAT testing.
- Experience in requirements/specification analysis and test estimation.
- Experience in defect management, triage, prioritization and risk assessment.
- Experience coordinating with BA, Development, Product and Business stakeholders.
- Prior Test Lead / QA Lead experience with team coordination or mentoring.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Immediate joiners are strongly preferred.
- Candidate must be willing to work on-site from the Gurugram office.

Good to Have
- Agile/Scrum experience.
- API testing knowledge.
- Experience with test management/defect management tools.
- Experience handling multiple projects and priorities.
- Strong reporting and stakeholder communication skills.

Important: Candidates without hands-on Ingenium Testing experience and Life Insurance testing of minimum 2 years experience will not be considered.
