The candidate should have strong practical experience in the following areas:

1. 6-12 years of software testing experience, preferably in embedded, HMI, desktop, mobile, or automotive applications.

2. Strong understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).

3. Robust understanding of test planning, test strategy, test design, execution, defect management, and test reporting.

4. Good understanding of embedded systems and communication/network technologies.

5. Hands-on experience with manual testing.

6. Ability to independently create comprehensive and maintainable test cases.

7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

8. Ability to analyse application logs, traces, and test failures.

9. Ability to perform initial root-cause analysis and identify the likely defective component/module.

10. Hands-on experience with HMI/UI testing.

11. Experience testing desktop and/or mobile applications.

12. Experience working directly with customers/stakeholders.

13. Experience leading a small testing team of 24 engineers.

Ability to manage testing activities across multiple projects.

15. Strong collaboration skills with developers, architects, system engineers, product owners, and project managers.

16. Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

17. Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira, TestRail, or equivalent.

18. Ability to prepare RTM and test/release reports.

19. Good verbal and written communication skills.

20. Strong ownership, accountability, and ability to work independently.

Added Advantages / Good-to-Have Skills

1. Experience developing and maintaining test automation frameworks using Python, skills like FlaUI, Selenium, Appium, PyTest, Robot Framework, or similar

2. Experience in Automotive In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) or related domains is highly desirable.

3. Experience testing mobile applications.

4. ISTQB Foundation / Advanced is an advantage
