P3 – Data Quality / Data Test Automation Engineer

Job Summary

We are hiring for one of our esteemed clients for a P3-level Data Quality / Data Test Automation Engineer.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in SQL, Python, ETL/data pipeline testing, Snowflake and Databricks, with the ability to validate large datasets and build automated testing solutions.

Notice period- 0-45 Days

Key Responsibilities

- Validate ETL logic, business logic and data quality across Snowflake, Databricks and other data platforms.
- Test data pipelines and identify potential failure points before production releases.
- Develop automated and reusable tests to improve test coverage and reduce regression risk.
- Translate business and technical requirements into test scenarios.
- Validate KPIs, metrics and business rules.




- Enhance existing data test automation frameworks for scalability and maintainability.
- Identify data anomalies using efficient SQL queries on large datasets.
- Collaborate with Data Engineers, Data Analysts, Product Managers and Engineering teams.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness and usability of data.

Required Skills

- Strong hands-on SQL experience with large datasets.
- Strong Python skills.
- Experience with Snowflake and Databricks.
- Strong experience in ETL / Data Pipeline Testing.
- Experience in Data Quality Engineering / Data Testing.
- Experience developing test automation for data pipelines.
- Familiarity with Spark and Airflow.
- Understanding of CI/CD principles.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
