Job Purpose:We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Tender Manager with 3 to 5 years of experience in the Plumbing/PHE (Public Health Engineering) contracting sector. The ideal candidate will take complete ownership of the bidding process, from tracking upcoming tender notices to final documentation, accurate BOQ estimation, and timely submission.

Key Responsibilities:Tender Sourcing & Evaluation: Regularly track, download, and analyze private and government plumbing tenders (via GeM, CPPP, and municipal portals like BMC/MCGM).BOQ & Cost Estimation: Read and interpret MEP/Plumbing drawings. Prepare accurate Bill of Quantities (BOQs), cost estimates, and rate analysis for sanitary ware, piping, water supply, drainage, and pumping systems.

Vendor Management: Coordinate with vendors and manufacturers to source competitive material quotes (pipes, valves, pumps, fittings)



to optimize bid margins.Documentation & Submission: Prepare technical and financial bid documents, ensuring compliance with all tender clauses, eligibility criteria, and commercial terms.Pre-Bid Coordination: Attend pre-bid meetings, raise relevant queries, and coordinate with internal project and finance teams for bank guarantees, EMDs, and technical data.

Required Qualifications & Skills:Education: Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Civil or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience in Plumbing/MEP contracting).Experience: 3 to 5 years of solid experience specifically in Plumbing/PHE bidding and estimation.

Software Proficiency: Excellent hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas for costing) and AutoCAD (for reading drawings).Portal Knowledge: Thorough familiarity with online e-tendering portals and the GeM portal.Key Traits: Solid analytical skills, a sharp eye for commercial risks, and the ability to work under tight submission deadlines.
