Overview:

EFSIM Skills Development Academy in Sudyal, Aligarh, is a subsidiary of EFS Facilities Services Group, a global integrated facilities management organization operating across the Middle East, Africa, South Asia, and Europe.

The academy serves as a Skill Assessment and Certification Centre authorized by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's Takamol Skill Verification Program and the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), Government of India. The academy is designed to equip students with globally recognized skills and certifications and prepare them for employment opportunities in India and the Gulf region.

The academy offers specialized technical courses in areas including HVAC Technician, Electrician Technician, Plumbing, and Gas Welding.

Role Overview:

The MEP Trainer will be responsible for delivering high-quality, hands-on technical training in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing trades to trainees enrolled at the EFSIM Skills Development Academy.

The role will involve developing and implementing trade-specific training modules, delivering theoretical and practical training, assessing trainee competencies, and preparing candidates for employment opportunities within the MEP sector in the Gulf and India.

The trainer will be expected to maintain effective classroom and practical learning environments while integrating safety practices, workplace ethics, industry standards, and practical skill development into the training program.

Key Responsibilities:

- Training Delivery

- Conduct theoretical and practical training sessions in the respective trade - Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing - in line with the prescribed curriculum and training schedule.
- Ensure effective classroom management and hands-on learning using appropriate tools, equipment, and live demonstrations.
- Deliver both online and offline training as required.
- Integrate safety practices and workplace ethics into all training activities.
- Assess trainees' performance through assignments, practical evaluations, and written tests.
- Conduct and support the smooth execution of the skill verification program.

Curriculum Development & Improvement
- Support the development, customization, and continuous improvement of training modules.
- Ensure training content remains aligned with industry standards and technological advancements.
- Collaborate with the L&D; team and industry experts to update lesson plans, practical exercises, and training methodologies.
- Incorporate relevant practical activities to strengthen trainee competency and job readiness.

3. Industry & Placement Support
- Liaise with the Recruitment team to understand current industry skill requirements and relevant job profiles.
- Support the development of trainees' technical and soft skills to ensure they are job-ready.
- Prepare trainees to effectively participate in and succeed in technical interviews.
- Align training outcomes with the practical requirements of MEP employment opportunities in the Gulf and India.

4. Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate attendance records, training documentation, training reports, assessment sheets, and trainee performance records.
- Ensure proper documentation of trainee progress and assessment outcomes.
- Ensure adherence to applicable quality assurance, compliance, and certification requirements.
- Maintain records required for the academy's training and skill verification activities.

5. Mentoring & Student Engagement
- Provide guidance, motivation, and mentoring to trainees to support skill enhancement and career progression.
- Identify and address trainee feedback, learning difficulties, and individual development requirements.
- Encourage active participation and engagement during both classroom and practical training sessions.

6. Additional Responsibilities




- Perform other duties and assignments related to skills development, training, and placement at the academy as assigned by management.

- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and demonstrate practical procedures effectively.

- Ability to adapt training approaches based on trainee capability and learning requirements.
- Familiarity with modern training tools, simulators, and digital learning aids.

Educational Qualifications:

- Diploma / ITI / B.Tech / B.E. / CITS certification in the relevant trade.
- Specialization in Electrical, Mechanical, or Plumbing.
- Strong hands-on technical expertise in the relevant MEP trade.

Experience:

- 4–7 years of relevant industry experience in the MEP field.
- 2–6 years of experience in delivering technical or vocational training in Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, or related technical fields.
- Previous experience in practical skills assessment, vocational training, or technical education will be relevant to the role.
