We are looking for an experienced agronomy leader to help accelerate the adoption of biological solutions across India by connecting science, farmers, partners, and commercial teams.As our Technical Service Manager – Agronomy, Plant Health South Asia, you will play a critical role in validating product performance, delivering technical expertise, and driving market development. Working closely with customers, research institutions, commercial teams, and regulatory stakeholders, you will help bring innovative biosolutions to farmers and create long-term value across the agricultural ecosystem.The Role & Your ImpactThis is a strategic and field-oriented role that combines technical leadership, customer engagement, market development, and innovation.

You will serve as a trusted agronomic advisor, supporting existing commercial partnerships while helping identify and develop new growth opportunities for Novonesis Plant Biosolutions across South Asia.Your key responsibilities in this role

- Provide agronomic expertise and technical guidance on Plant Biosolutions products and technologies.
- Build solid relationships and collaborate with customer and partner agronomy teams.
- Support commercial partners with product recommendations, application methods, technical troubleshooting, and value demonstration.
- Deliver product training to customer commercial teams, channel partners, and farmers.
- Support sales and business development teams by identifying and qualifying new opportunities and prospects.
- Design and execute technical evaluations, proof-of-concept trials, and partner assessments.
- Develop and implement mid-term and long-term growth opportunities for Novonesis Plant Biosolutions.
- Represent Novonesis at industry events, trade shows, conferences, and technical forums.
- Design and manage research and field trials that generate efficacy data and support product registrations.
- Collaborate with agricultural universities, research institutes, SAUs, and CROs on validation and registration activities.
- Partner with Regulatory Affairs teams to support dossiers, permits, and registration requirements.

What you’ll need to be successful in this role




- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agronomy, Soil Science, Plant Nutrition, Crop Science, Agricultural Microbiology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 12 years of relevant experience within agronomy, technical services, market development, crop nutrition, crop protection, agri-inputs, or biological solutions.
- Robust understanding of agricultural biological products, agronomic practices, and commercialization processes.
- Proven experience designing and conducting field trials and translating agronomic data into actionable customer recommendations.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively across commercial, regulatory, marketing, and R&D; functions.
- Established network within agricultural universities, research institutes, and industry stakeholders.
- Curiosity, adaptability, and a passion for innovation in agriculture.

- Hybrid working model.
- Location: NCR, New Delhi or Bangalore.
- Travel requirement: Approximately 60% within India.
