Role Description The Technical Sales & Service Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Thane. This role involves promoting and selling marine engineering services and solutions, preparing technical proposals, and conducting product and service presentations for clients.

The engineer will provide technical support during pre- and post-sales stages, including troubleshooting, coordinating service activities, and ensuring timely resolution of customer issues. Day-to-day responsibilities include site visits, inspections, liaising with operations and engineering teams, tracking service performance, and maintaining accurate documentation and reports.



The role also requires building and maintaining strong customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and contributing to sales targets and service quality standards.

Qualifications

- Solid Technical Sales and Sales Engineering skills, with the ability to explain complex marine engineering solutions in clear, practical terms.
- Experience in Technical Support, including diagnostics, troubleshooting, and coordination of service activities for marine or industrial equipment.
- Demonstrated Sales skills, including lead generation, pipeline management, negotiation, and closing deals.
- Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Hands-on experience in marine engineering, ship repair, container maintenance, or related service environments is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site, conduct field visits, and adapt to operational demands in a marine and industrial setting.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and familiarity with safety standards and compliance requirements in marine operations.
- Proficiency with basic office and reporting tools (e.g., MS Office, CRM systems) and willingness to travel as required.
