Responsibilities

- To support in design activities as per project requirement and deliver with quality and respect timelines.
- Participates in design/ verification reviews and provide associated reports.
- Conduct self and team’s internal quality checks and ensure the accuracy and consistency all across deliveries.
- Technically lead project, guide team members and interface with internal stakeholders and customer.
- Maintains process related and applicable documents.
- Contributes to turn backs and RCAs.

Required Skills

- Min 10 years of Transportation domain expertise (Requirements -Design-Systems- Integration-Industrial Engg) including hands on experience with 2 to 3 full Product life cycles.
- Strong knowledge in understanding the Electro-mechanical system requirements and translate into design.
- Shall guide and coach team members and can manage complex electromechanical integration both physical and functional.
- Design, Install &
- Integration of electrical systems wire harness-cables and Equipment’s in digital mockup including mechanical parts like cables, cable ducts, brackets, etc.
- Shall validate complete Integration of Harness-systems and electrical equipment.
- Shall support Bidding. Technical &

- Strong Knowledge on Electrical and Mechanical Architecture of car/vehicle
- Strong knowledge on Config-Change-Release management.
- Strong knowledge on DFA &
- DFM. Welding-Bending-Fabrication process




- Good knowledge on Electrical Schematics (functional &
- Wiring), logics &
- Component selection.
- Valuable knowledge on EMI-EMC segregation, System Compatibility, shielding etc
- Good knowledge on Grounding/Earthing &
- Bonding.
- Valuable knowledge on Gauging (Static &
- Dynamic),, RAMS, System-Subsystem Engineering and Requirements.
- Good knowledge on Services – Retro fit solutions
- Understands datasheets related to connectors, Equipment, Terminals, Glands, accessories, etc; & can guide suppliers to optimize designs for weight &
- Cost.
- Lead & validate gated reviews (Concept, preliminary &
- Detail Design) & demonstrate valuable engineering judgment.
- Well-versed with CAD integration tools (Catia etc)
- Proactive approach to solve unplanned or conflicting issues and work with processes
- Involve Interact with design leads of Cross functional teams and guide them while developing design solutions.
- Knowledge on GD&T; techniques to understand and meet various drafting standards.
- Understand the defined QC process and ensure executed work meet QC requirements.
- Shall interact with other stakeholders and discipline engineers to understand and implement design interfaces in assigned project.
- Strong communicator and negotiator.
- Solicit customer requirements and transform them into solutions with our suppliers.
