Role Summary The Technical Product Owner (TPO) owns the product backlog and drives the definition, prioritization, and delivery of features across engineering, design, and business stakeholders. This role bridges technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring the product roadmap is translated into actionable, well-defined work that delivers maximum value. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background combined with proven product ownership skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Own and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring it reflects business value, technical feasibility, and stakeholder needs
- Translate business requirements into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications in collaboration with engineering leads
- Define product scope, goals, and release deliverables in coordination with stakeholders
- Maintain and evolve the product roadmap, sprint backlogs, and release plans
- Identify, track, and mitigate product risks and technical blockers impacting delivery
- Facilitate agile ceremonies (backlog grooming, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives)
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (engineering, QA, DevOps, design) to ensure shared understanding of product goals
- Track feature progress, release timelines, and resource utilization against product priorities
- Communicate product status, risks, and dependencies to leadership and stakeholders
- Manage vendor/third-party technical integrations where relevant to the product
- Ensure documentation of product decisions, requirements, architecture changes, and artifacts




- Drive post-release reviews/retrospectives to capture lessons learned and inform future iterations

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
- 4–7 years of experience in technical product ownership/product management
- Preferred technical exposure: MERN stack project
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum/Kanban methodologies
- Experience in SaaS
- Experience with product/project management tools (Jira, Asana, MS Project, Trello, etc.)
- Familiarity with technical concepts: APIs, databases, cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP), CI/CD pipelines
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience managing multiple product backlogs/priorities concurrently

Preferred Qualifications

- PMP, CSPO, CSM, or similar certification
- Prior hands-on experience as a developer/engineer
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes)

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
