We are looking for a Technical IT Project Manager to lead software and technology projects from requirements gathering through successful delivery.

The Project Manager will act as the primary bridge between stakeholders and the technical engineering team. They must be able to understand business requirements, clarify ambiguities, translate them into technically actionable work, and communicate engineering discussions back to stakeholders in explicit business language.

Key Responsibilities

- Own projects end-to-end, from requirements gathering and planning through development, testing, and delivery.
- Work directly with executives and stakeholders to understand business needs, objectives, priorities, and expected outcomes.
- Ask the right questions to clarify incomplete, ambiguous,



or conflicting requirements before development begins.
- Translate business requirements into clear, technically actionable Linear tickets.
- Create high-quality tickets containing sufficient context, requirements, technical details, dependencies, edge cases, and clear acceptance criteria.
- Break larger requirements into milestones, features, and appropriately scoped engineering tickets.
- Work closely with developers and technical leads to validate requirements, estimates, implementation approaches, dependencies, and technical constraints.
- Participate in technical discussions and translate relevant outcomes, trade-offs, risks, and limitations into language that non-technical stakeholders can understand.
- Ensure stakeholder expectations and engineering understanding remain aligned throughout the project.
- Maintain Linear as the single source of truth by keeping tickets, priorities, statuses, dependencies, milestones, and project boards accurate and up to date.
- Manage project scope, timelines, priorities, risks, blockers, dependencies, and requirement changes.
- Track execution continuously and proactively resolve communication gaps, unclear requirements, and delivery blockers.
- Provide stakeholders with clear updates on progress, decisions,



risks, technical challenges, and upcoming work.
- Coordinate developers, technical leads, and other project contributors.
- Maintain project documentation, decisions, action items, and delivery plans.

Required Qualifications

- 5+ years of relevant experience in IT project management, technical delivery, software engineering, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum, software development, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and technical environments.
- Strong requirements gathering, analysis, and technical ticket-writing skills.
- Experience using Linear, Jira, or a similar project management tool.
- Ability to convert non-technical business requirements into structured and technically actionable work.
- Ability to understand engineering discussions and clearly communicate technical concepts, risks, and trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, organization, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous experience as a Software Developer, DevOps Engineer, Solution Architect, Technical Business Analyst, QA Engineer, or in another technical role.
- Experience managing SaaS, cloud, AI, infrastructure, integration, or enterprise software projects.
- PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum, Agile, or a similar certification.
- Experience with AWS and cloud cost optimization or governance is a strong plus, including AWS Budgets, Cost Explorer, Savings Plans, rightsizing, tagging policies, and FinOps practices.
